Moti Lodge, as one of our shared housing schemes, provides a group living experience in a house where the kitchen, living room and other domestic facilities are shared.

An intermediate step between residential care and supported housing, shared housing service can be used either as an alternative for service users who are not quite ready for a placement at a self-contained supported housing unit or as a means for reducing the time service users may need to be in a residential care service.

Service users are provided a tenancy agreement and are responsible for paying rent and utilities.

The level of support is targeted towards individuals who may need an enhanced level of intervention to maintain their mental health and regain independent living skills.

The service has staff on site 24/7, with sleep-in cover overnight

This is an extended three-storey semi-detached period property. It has 7 service user rooms, all with ensuites.  

The rooms are provided newly decorated, fully fitted and furnished to a high standard. They are equipped with everything that the service user will need to be comfortable from day one. This includes all bedding and towels, and with many properties a *TV. 

*It is the service user’s responsibility to obtain a TV license if one is required

Moti Lodge is in Finchley, in the LB of Barnet. Less than half a mile from Finchley Central underground station (Northern Line) the property is located on a turning just off the high street, Ballard’s Lane which hosts a large array of local amenities and bus routes to several areas including central London.

The property includes:

  • NA fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons, including facilities for supported cooking sessions and lockable individual integrated fridge/ freezers and kitchen storage cupboards.
  • NAn open plan communal dining room and lounge with TV & other entertainment facilities with glazed bi-folding doors to the garden.
  • NA large side and rear garden, with a large patio area with seating, a lawn, a green house and a vegetable patch.
  • NA ground floor laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
  • NA drive with parking for 2 vehicles.
  • NCCTV covering the main entrance, the grounds and the hallway and corridors internally.
